“Wright History is a husband-and-wife team: I do the courses, and Joanna keeps the show on the road in all other respects.

“I began my professional life as a medievalist. My PhD research explored monasticism via the medieval economic and social history of Kirkstall Abbey. I still maintain my passion for things monastic and medieval, but have relished the opportunity which adult education - and more specifically, the enthusiasm and requests of students with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working - has allowed me to broaden my interests and expertise.”
