For users in the United Kingdom, we adhere to the GDPR as enshrined in the Data Protection Act 2018.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer as we do not fall within the categories of controllers and processors required to appoint a Data Protection Officer under Article 37 of the GDPR.

to learn about Wright History Courses and our courses via Third Parties
to receive relevant Content, e.g., blog posts
to attend a course
to pay for a course
to be contactable in the event of any problem concerning the delivery of Wright History Courses and courses via Third Parties.

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

Third Party course providers, e.g., WEA, PLACE, when you have booked a course supplied by us via them
our website provider (Squarespace), when you interact with our Site.

Our legitimate interests include, e.g., communicating information pertinent to access to and the delivery of Wright History Courses or Third-Party courses.

When you visit and use our Site, our Site host (Squarespace) automatically collects the following information:

While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure that user data is secure and that users are protected, there always remains the risk of harm. The Internet as a whole can be insecure at times and therefore we are unable to guarantee the security of user data beyond what is reasonably practical.
