On this course we will follow the development of Post-impressionism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. We will examine such themes as developments in colour theory, the influence of Japanese art, and the use of painting to express inner feelings. We will also focus on the work of individual artists such as Signac, Van Gogh and Gauguin.

10 weeks, Wednesday 13 January – Wednesday 24 March (incl., with half-term break on 17 February)
